Mother’s Day is right around the corner and if you’re trying to think of some out-of-the-box ways to make the special lady in your life feel oh-so-special, we’ve got some great ideas to share with you that won’t break the bank!

A little creativity and lots of love can go into each of them. One thing we’re certain of: She’ll definitely feel the love on Mother’s Day. After all, that’s what it’s all about!

1. MAKE THE HOUSE SPARKLE AND SHINE

Survey’s in. What’s the most amazing gift for moms that also happens to not cost a dime? Coming home to a clean, sparkly and shiny house! We’re not just talking about tidying up and picking up the toys and laundry; we’re talking about really putting some elbow grease into it!

Mop the floors, wash the windows, dust, vacuum, clean the bathrooms, make all the beds, clean the kitchen. Boy oh boy, how her face will light up when she walks in the door to her own personal utopia! Trust us.

2. MAKE HER FAVORITE MEAL

Does she love Italian food? Or maybe Mexican food is more her jam. Whatever it is, make a list of what you need to make her a Mother’s Day meal to remember. Go all out, too! Start with an appetizer, set the table and even have Alexa play some themed music to go along with the cuisine you’ll be serving.

But wait, that’s not all. Truly knock her socks off by cleaning it all up once dinner is over. It’s not really a gift if you make the meal, then leave her the mess. Not only will you please her palate, but you will be making the BEST memory!

3. MAKE A “PAMPER HER” PLAN

Sadly, most women don’t take the time they need to de-stress like they deserve. So, what can you do on Mother’s Day? Does she love to soak in the tub, but doesn’t usually have time to do it? Make it happen for her! Go purchase a few blissful bath essentials like a bath bomb, a new candle to place by the tub and any other refreshing bath products you think she might love. She’ll love the gesture and the soak time.

Another idea (and our favorite, of course) is to schedule her a surprise beauty appointment. Whether it’s for a facial, massage or a luxury experience at The Lash Lounge, pamper her with some good ol’-fashioned “me-time.”

Thinking a lash nap and a full set of lash extensions are calling her name? at a Lash Lounge near you, and she’ll be forever grateful for her new time-saving beauty routine! Your life will be changed forever, too; gift-giving will be SO easy now that you have a Lash Lounge gift card in your bag of tricks!

4. TAKE HER DOWN MEMORY LANE

Nothing fills a heart more than memories, which leads us to this super sweet idea. Make her a special scrapbook with her most treasured moments and memories. She’ll love the effort and time you put into this keepsake.

Want to take this idea up a notch? Make a video with family photos, home video clips and special messages just for Mom. Include some of her favorite music and songs in the video and when you watch. Tip: Don’t forget the popcorn…and the Kleenex.

5. FLOURISH HER WITH FLOWERS

What woman doesn’t love flowers? Whether you purchase them from her favorite local florist, pick them right outside your front door or even make some beautiful homemade flowers for a fun DIY activity, she’ll love this cheerful gift.

Are you ready to get super creative? Incorporate her favorite flower into a homemade bouquet. Or make a few smaller arrangements and place them around the house. Put one next to her bed, in the kitchen and even by her sink in the bathroom. Leaving pretty petaled reminders here and there is sure to make her heart happy!

6. ENJOY HER FAVORITE ACTIVITIES WITH HER

It’s no secret that most women are constantly running around getting kids to and from school, practices, appointments, errands—the list goes on and on. With such an on-the-go schedule, she may not get to enjoy some of her favorite activities as often as she would like. So, on Mother’s Day, make it a day full of what SHE loves to do. Help her in the garden, take her to her favorite lunch spot, leave her for a couple hours with a good book and her favorite drink, or pack a picnic and take her to her favorite walking trail. Whatever it is you know she loves to do (but doesn’t get to do often), do it!

At the end of the day, showering her with gifts never hurts, but what truly makes all the difference in the world is how you make her FEEL on this special day. Make her feel loved, important and give HER all the attention to make this Mother’s Day the best one ever!
