The Importance of Cleansing Your Lashes

Lash extensions can simplify your morning routine and enhance your natural eyes. Taking care of your extensions properly will keep your natural lashes healthy, allow for lash growth, and make your extensions last longer. Detox Lavender Trio The Lash Lounge Raleigh ITB

During your lash service, your stylist adds an extension to your natural lashes one to two mm away from your lash line (applying lash adhesive directly to the skin can cause discomfort or glue allergy). The purpose of our eyelashes is to catch any dust and debris we may come in contact with to protect our eyes. Over time, this gap between the lash line and lash extension can collect oil, makeup debris, and dirt which will make your lash line more responsive to bacterial growth.  It is important to clean, nourish, and protect your lashes daily. Lash Detox cleanser is formulated to cleanse debris, remove makeup, and kill bacteria without drying out your skin and breaking down the lash adhesive.

How to Safely Clean Your Lashes

  1. Wet your face and lashes with water
  2. Apply a pump of Lash Detox cleanser to a cleansing brush
  3. Gently lather the cleanser on your lashes and lightly brush down on your lashes to remove debris from the lash line
  4. Lightly splash water on your face and lashes to rinse
  5. Gently pat dry with a lint-free towel or fan blast with your hairdryer on a cool setting for 10 seconds
  6. Brush your lashes with a mascara wand
  7. Repeat morning and night
