Lash Extension Care Questions
- Do eyelash extensions ruin your eyelashes?
-
No. High-quality, synthetic lashes that are applied correctly, cared for and filled or removed by a lash extensions specialist are safer than ill-fitting falsies.
- How do you clean eyelash extensions?
-
Extension care is key!
Follow our three-step process:- Remove makeup with Eye-Rase, our pre-soaked makeup remover pads.
- Cleanse with our oil-free foaming lash cleanser, Lash Detox.
- Pat down and brush to prolong the life of your lashes.
For an extra layer of protection, use one of our Lash Armor lash coatings to seal and strengthen the adhesive bond while vitamins, essential acids and natural extracts promote healthier, stronger lash regrowth.
- Can eyelash extensions get wet?
-
Absolutely. It’s important to continue to wash your face and care for your lashes with lash-safe products. Avoid rubbing your eyelashes or exposing them directly to the strong jets of the shower.
- Can you swim with eyelash extensions?
-
Yes! Lash extensions are safe for the pool, lake or ocean if your lashes have cured for at least eight hours post-appointment. Our line of lash care products (available exclusively at The Lash Lounge salons) makes it easy to keep your lash extensions clean and in good shape no matter your activity level.
Lash Lift Questions
- What is a lash lift?
-
A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls lashes in much the same way a hair perm does. Using safe silicone lifting rods, Lash Lounge stylists curl your natural lashes, no extensions necessary.
- How long does a lash lift last?
-
A lash lift may last up to eight weeks. However, this will vary based on your eyelashes. Your stylist will work with you to determine a maintenance schedule that works for you.
- Can you wear mascara with a lash lift?
-
Absolutely. You can continue to wear your favorite eye makeup and lash products after the required 24-hour waiting period after your lash lift. Or pair with a lash tint for a darker luster sans mascara!
- How much does a lash lift cost?
-
Lash lift pricing will vary by location between $75 and $85. Consider adding eyebrow and eyelash tinting to your appointment to get the most out of your trip to The Lash Lounge.
- Do lash lifts damage your eyelashes?
-
A professional lash lift is safe and painless. We do not recommend DIY lifting or perming.
Eyebrow and Eyelash Tinting Questions
- What is eyebrow and eyelash tinting?

Eyelash and eyebrow tinting is the process of dyeing the lashes and eyebrow hairs. We use a 100%-safe dye that is specifically formulated for use on sensitive areas of the face. Your stylist will work with you to choose the dye color perfect for you!
- What is a lash lift and tint?
-
A lash lift and tint is a powerful combination of services that gives you the boldest eyelash look WITHOUT eyelash extensions.
- How long does eyelash and eyebrow tint last?
-
On average, eyelash and eyebrow tinting will last for four weeks. Your results may vary. Your stylist will work with you to build a maintenance schedule to fit your needs.
- Why should I tint my eyelashes?
-
Without extensions, eyelash tinting is the easiest way to draw attention to your eyes. Affordable and long-lasting, eyelash tinting gives a bold but natural appearance to your lashes without mascara, extensions or falsies.
- Is eyebrow tinting worth it?
-
If you’re looking for fuller, bolder, more youthful-looking eyebrows, eyebrow tinting is the best way to achieve your goals. Our safe, semi-permanent dyeing process results in beautiful brows that require very little maintenance and look consistent day-to-day. For perfect brows, add eyebrow threading to your appointment.
