Living Life With Lashes: An Interview With Modern Mom, Michelle
LL: When did you first fall in love with lash extensions and which Lash Lounge location do you currently visit?
MM: I started visiting the Frisco – Starwood location in the spring and that’s when my love affair with lashes began.
LL: Which service is hands-down your favorite?
MM: I have tried many of the services, but my answer is without a doubt hybrid and volume lash extensions!
LL: Has having lash extensions simplified your beauty routine? If so, please dish out those lash details for us!
MM: Lash extensions have absolutely simplified my daily beauty routine! Before I got hooked, I was applying several coats of mascara a day, but not anymore! I no longer wear mascara (nor do I need to—hooray!!), so that saves me precious time. I also love that, even when I don’t wear eye makeup, my lash extensions make my eyes appear more awake and dramatic. What woman doesn’t want that?!? I literally get SO many compliments and questions about my lashes from my friends, it’s amazing!
LL: What is it about having lash extensions during the summer that has been particularly life-changing?
MM: With kids at home and always being on the go, I don’t have as much time to apply eye makeup and create those dramatic looks I love so much. Now that I have lash extensions, I’m hooked on the simplicity of walking out the door without mascara or eyeliner, yet I feel like my eyes still look fabulous.
LL: What activities have you (and your lashes) enjoyed this summer?
MM: My kiddos and I have gone to the beach and also enjoyed many sunny days at the pool. My lash extensions don’t get in the way of me experiencing summer fun with my family. Like I mentioned, they have totally simplified my beauty routine!
*We recommend following your recommended aftercare routine when hopping out of the water, including a wash and a brushing, like Michelle does! A lash sealant keeps your lashes in place for longer, so is always good prep, too!
LL: From vacations to staycations to just simple fun, what has been your summer highlight?
MM: Our family went to Orange Beach, Ala. with my best friends and their families. It’s a yearly tradition to ensure we stay in touch with them since our lives have gotten so busy with growing families. We spent a week at the beach soaking up the sun and waves. It was a great way to kick off the season!
LL: Thank you for sharing your summer lash journey with us, Michelle! Is there anything else you’d like to add about your lashes and experience at The Lash Lounge?
MM: Overall, I LOVE that my lashes actually stay put! Your stylists are top-notch and, trust me, I know! I have received lash extension services elsewhere and they did not last. Not even just after a few days. I am so very pleased with the service and quality I have found at The Lash Lounge!
Hearing how much a guest loves her lashes is music to our ears, and so is hearing Michelle enjoyed ALL of her usual summer activities and took her lashes with her every “splash” of the way!
