Whether you’re a brow enthusiast chasing the latest eyebrow trends or just looking for a low-effort way to level up your look, you’re in the right place because soap brows are having a major moment.

We’re breaking down what soap brows are, how to get the fluffy, lifted look everyone’s loving, and what to try if you’d rather leave your brows to the pros.

Let’s get to it– it’s going to be a sudsy good time!

What Are Soap Brows?

Picture this: Wild brow hairs that are hard to tame. 😫 Sound familiar? If this is you or you’ve had moments dealing with unruly brows, you know the struggle is real!

Enter soap brows—a clever, low-effort DIY technique that uses (you guessed it!) a bar of soap. Some also like to describe it as a hairspray effect for your brows giving them hold, lift and definition without the crunch.

Why the Soap Brow Trend?

So, what’s the hype? 🤔 Soap brows are basically the DIY superhero your unruly brow hairs have been waiting for – effective, affordable and totally on-trend!

The soap brow trend has taken off for a few key reasons:

  • Fluff Factor: This technique nails the “fluffy brow” look. Think soft, textured and lifted brow hairs that define your face.
  • Budget-Friendly Brows: Love a good beauty hack that doesn’t drain your wallet? All you need is a bar of soap and a little time—seriously.
  • Long-Lasting Hold: Once your brows are set with the soap, they’re not going anywhere. No more midday brow droop! 🙌
  • It’s DIY: This is a technique you can master at home with just a bar of soap. (Don’t worry, we’ve got deets on how to do soap brows below!)
  • Customizable: Since this is a DIY beauty hack, you get to control the shape and direction of your brow hairs. Want them straight up for a bolder look? Go for it! Prefer a more natural arch? The look is in your hands!

How To Do Soap Brows

A beauty hack with instructions this short sounds too good to be true… but not with soap brows.

Step 1: Get a clean spoolie brush and wet it. (Want one you can use again and again? Try our Metal Mascara Brush OR our Crystal Lash Wand. Both available for purchase at your local Lash Lounge.)

Step 2: Rub the spoolie onto a clean bar of soap to get a bit of suds onto the spoolie.

Step 3: Gently brush it through your brows, shaping them just the way you like.

As you do this, you’ll notice how the soap creates a flexible yet strong hold that keeps those unruly brows in place all day long.
