While working our lash and brow magic, we want everyone to feel relaxed and cared for each and every time. See the steps we take to ensure each guest and stylist (yep, their comfort is important, too!) is positioned properly, as well as some examples from one of our corporate training experts, Shelley.

HEAD + NECK SUPPORT FOR ALL!

At the end of the day, comfort for everyone is the name of our lash game. We not only want to make sure our guests are cozy and relaxed (hello, lash naps!), but we also want to make sure our stylists are comfortable, too. This is super important; a comfy stylist is one who can lash at their highest potential.

Guest Comfort

To provide you with the best possible comfort for your neck, shoulders and back, we place a special pillow under your neck area to give you that much needed head support while you’re lying down. If at any time the neck pillow needs to be repositioned, always let your stylist know!

Stylist Comfort

Being able to comfortably reach a guest’s lashes and brows without slouching or hunching over is very important for our stylists’ health and their ability to provide you with your custom service.

That’s a big part of why we get you settled in first. If you’re not positioned just right, then your stylist might try and compensate with her own posture, which could result in tightness or soreness in their back and shoulders.

OUR BUDDY, THE BOLSTER

One of the first steps we take when you lie down on our plush spa bed is to set you up with a bolster under your legs; this gets you in the perfect position to relax!

Comfort Accommodations— Oh, the Possibilities!

Because we know not all guests are built alike, we have developed special accommodations for guests with unique needs. For guests with back issues or those who are pregnant, we have a couple tricks up our sleeves.

Side Positioning

Something we’ve found to be super effective is transitioning the guest from lying on their back to their side. We’ll place one bolster behind their back for extra support and the other bolster either along their torso area or between their knees.

Don’t worry—we’ll always make sure their neck is comfortable and their head is as straight as possible, so the stylist can reach them properly. Good thinking! 😉

From our stylists to our beloved guests, we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible. Which reminds us, learn about the 6 Ways to Enhance Your Lash Lounge Experience and start counting down the time ’til you get to sink into that relaxing spa bed for your favorite service.
