Is Eyelash Tinting Safe and How Often to Tint Eyelashes?

A young woman is getting her eyelashes tinted by an eyelash technician.

What Is Eyelash Tinting?

Dreaming of bold, dark lashes without the hassle of applying mascara EVERY day? An eyelash tint is calling YOUR name! But what is eyelash tinting? This service involves one of our trained lash stylists applying a semi-permanent dye to your natural lashes, which will not only highlight your facial features but add a rich color to your lackluster lash line.

Typically, we perform this service on guests with naturally light or fine lashes, but the beauty of a lash tint is that anyone can get it for a darker, natural lash look. Another beautiful thing about lash tinting is that it’s a quick, low-maintenance service that adds an instant update to your eyes and overall look! 👁️

Is Eyelash Tinting Safe?

Yes! At The Lash Lounge, our eyelash tinting process is 100% safe! In fact, the dyes are created specifically to be used on eyelashes and the tinting formula itself is gentle for your lashes and eye area. Our stylists go through an extensive training program where they learn the lash tint application process safely and effectively (WITHOUT discomfort) to give our guests the best results!

The Benefits of Custom Eyelash Tinting

Our custom tinting process ensures that you’ll leave with lashes tinted to the color you had your heart set on from the moment you made your appointment. During your consultation, you will work closely with your stylist to select a shade that best complements your hair color and complexion. This allows us to personalize the service and meet your ultimate lash tinting goals. 🙌🏼

How Long Does Eyelash Tint Last?

For most Lash Lounge guests, a lash tint full of rich, beautiful color will last up to four weeks! When it comes time to figure out when to refresh that color, your trusted lash stylist will chat with you about how often you’ll need to schedule future appointments to keep those lashes looking flawless.

When it comes to how long a lash tinting service will take, it’s quick! We’re talking approximately 30 minutes! And if you wish to add an additional service to your lash tint for an even bolder eye look—you got it! Just keep in mind that combining services will likely lengthen the time of your appointment.

How Long Does an Eyelash Lift and Tint Last?

Looking for an even fuller, more defined lash appearance? We’ve got you covered! Our eyelash tinting service  is designed to stand alone or be paired with other services like a lash lift. This is what we call a lash lift and tint! A lash lift on its own will last up to eight weeks, but if you get a lift AND tint, we recommend scheduling appointments every four weeks to keep your lashes perfectly curled and fresh with color. 😉

For guests with lighter hair, we suggest pairing a lash tint with a full set of custom eyelash extensions to really make your eyes POP! With lash extensions, most guests schedule appointments every two weeks for a lash refill, however, if you throw a lash tint in as well, it’s best to refresh your tint at every other lash fill visit (about every four weeks) or when your stylist recommends.

Goodbye Mascara, Hello Lash Tint!

Oh, happy day! It’s time to officially say goodbye to mascara, and HELLO to a lash tint!

Whether you go for a LIFT AND TINT, pair a tint with lash extensions, or simply go for an eyelash tint alone, there’s no doubt you’ll turn heads with darker, fuller-looking lashes that enhance your beautiful face!

(Ready to throw out those brow pencils, too? Our custom eyebrow tinting service will allow you to select a brow color to perfectly match your hair, leaving you with the defined brows you’ve been dreaming of!)

With a refreshing lash tint or any of our personalized services from The Lash Lounge, you will love your new look and (the BEST part!) how it makes you feel.
